The prime purpose of conventional fire preventive glass was to prevent
fire from spreading.
Pyrostop was developed for the
purpose of protecting lives of human beings from flame.
Development engineers exerted their best possible efforts on protecting
human beings from high temperatures, and deriving sufficient light for living
with nature.
As shown on the illustration on the left, its structure is a total of
five(5) sheets of three(3) millimeter thick glasses to sandwich silicate
soda films.
Superb technology is also used here.
Since a high permeability glass is used, it is brighter than a 3mm floating
process glass as it has better permeability of visible rays.
Once a fire starts, the silicic acid soda films greatly foam up and prevent from permeating the heat from the fire.
The High Performance Fire Prevention
Glass
In case of fire, the silicic acid soda film forms foam in excess of 120
degrees C.
As if the surface of the glass is heated by flame up to 900 to 1000 degrees
C, the other side is kept at one hundred and dozens of degrees C for as
long as one(1) hour.
Due to this feature, temperatures at adjacent rooms as well as evacuation
routes will not rise in excess of 50 degrees C for easy evacuation, and
it prevents inflammables from catching fire.

An approval against any fire prevention door is not solely given to the
glass, but the approval can be acquired for the combination of glass and
sash and/or glass and its frame. We wish you to confirm prior to your installation
whether such approval is being given or not to the door. If you wish to
get a new approval, please contact us prior to your application for the
approval.

Pyrostop is only available in the form of sheet glass. It is hardly possible for you to cut it off, therefore, please order from us in the size of your use.
In order to make distinction with ordinary glasses, on one(1) spot of corners there is a specific mark printed.
Since Pyrostop is an extraordinary sheets of glass joined together, it
can only be used in indoor.
l Concern about its environmental temperature which shall not be in excess
of 40 degrees C.
l If the glass directly faces to the sun light, a treatment for absorbing
ultra violet rays is required. Please call on us prior to such use.
Pyrostop's entire circumference is covered with a metal tape in order
to protect edges. Pay proper attention during its conveyance and installation.
Do not detach the tape, and use it as i
