Energy Saving Effect Simulation in a Model House

Ecology
It is one the most important subjects to reduce emission of CO2 in conjunction with preventive measures of the green house effect. It has turned to be an important international subject.
The Government of Japan is aiming to control emission in the year 2000 at the level of emission in 1990 (an equivalent to 320 million tons of carbon).
However, at this point in time, it is estimated that as much as 330 million tons will be in excess of the target. It is an avoidable target to reduce 10 million tons by the year 2000.
Among such increase emission from people's living is remarkably rising:
The result of 1990 : 72 millions tons (22.5% of the total)
Estimated 2000 : 93 million tons (28.1% of the total)
As a strong measure, to use insulation glasses (heat isolation) for the openings of buildings and complex living buildings are widely discussed.
At this point in time, if the energy conservation for next generation is applied (if all the existing windowpanes of houses are replaced with insulation glasses), estimated reduction of CO2 emission is 2 million tons (from 6 million tons to 4 million tons), which represents a 20% of 10 million tons of advocated target of Government.
